SUGGESTION OF THE WEEK
FINANCIER CAKE

Ingredients for 4 : 200 gr [7 oz] plain flour / 200 gr [7 oz] icing sugar /
150 gr [7 oz] unsalted butter + some for tins / 100 gr [3.5 oz] finely
ground almonds / 50 gr [2 oz] sliced almonds / 4 eggs whites / salt.

- Melt the butter and let it cool down a bit. Meanwhile, in a salad bowl,
mix the flour, the sugar, the ground almonds and a pinch salt together.

- Dig a "shaft" and add the egg whites, mix, then add the melted butter.
Mix vigorously.

- Butter the tins, and evenly pour the pastry in them, then spread with
the sliced almonds. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C / 350°F for
25 minutes.

Let it cool down 3 minutes and take them out from tins…
